What to Include in Your Letter of Inquiry (LOI)

Organizations that reflect the mission of the Fred and Jean Allegretti Foundation should begin by submitting an LOI. Based on the information provided, we will invite you to submit a full application. Also, if your organization meets the criteria but has not received a grant from the Allegretti Foundation in the past 12 months, begin by submitting an LOI. Your letter should include:

  • Summarized Project Description
  • Amount Requested
  • Program Area
  • Funding Type – General operating or specific program
  • Location
  • IRS Form 990
